Wayward O Says: in case yOu missed it -- yes. you missed it. wayward O says YEAH this letter printed in saturday's wash post:
Thousands of Post readers have been Orioles fans for years and still attend manypaul kirby. just another stout Os fan with a high tolerance for agony and no tolerance for tom boswell and his pinheaded sports biases. paul kirby ... you are not alOne.
games. And for many Post readers who live in Maryland, including those in Howard and Anne Arundel counties, the Orioles are the home team, with Baltimore closer than Washington.
Please reconsider your decision to not dedicate one of your reporters to covering the Orioles' home and away games.

Say, Wayward, tell me this: what in the world gives any Os fan the right to criticize their team's coverage in another town's paper - especially when the Os REFUSED TO LET THAT TOWN HAVE BASEBALL FOR 20 YEARS? I don't see any paper in the land giving special play to an alien team which STINKS.
as long as the washington post wants to ignore its multitudinous thousands of md., d.c., and no.va.-based readers who are Os fans, nothing.
the paper simply will pay the cost in lost subscribers.
one good reporter covering the Os would more than pay for itself in terms of financial benefit for the paper. but i guess boswell and friends would rather ignore that.
Poor Trembley still hasn't been in the dugout for a win since he was named 2008 "manager."
