We should have hope for this team next year. In addition to competent management, they seem solid at all 3 OF positions, plus 3B (Melmo), 2B (Roberts), DH (Huff) and C (Wieters). They have two major league quality starters (Guthrie, Cabrera) and a couple of reliable arms in the pen. What they need is: (1) big bopper free agent at 1B; (2) two front line starters. With Yanquis and Sawx seemingly both on a downward spiral, next year could be fun.
If the O's could beat the Sox today, that would be great. Thanks.
