Refreshing to have a playoff with no Janquis - first time since '94. I just wish their replacement was of more interest than the Rays. But in '09 the Janqs will have CC Sabathia to go with Mussina, Wang and Pettitte, so Girardi must win or be replaced by Donny Baseball.
Andy McPhail cant afford to spend the off season with his toe in the water. HE MUST GET IN POOL. And Make some deals happen. Shitzville INDEED.
No player on this team can be deemed off limits. Guthrie would be a 20 game winner right now on a half dozen other teams. Roberts? Mora? Markakis? Jones? May not even be in the American League next year unless they have no trade clauses. Cabrera and Hernandez may not even be in Baseball.
Team was destined to swoon this season anyway. At we seem to be unanimous that we can begin to build around Trembo. He's like Buttermaker from the bad news bears at this point. Lovable but surrouded by ineptitude.
